Roommates? Rideshares? Cosplay? Ahn-Con: Yaoi Convention
Ahn-Con is a yaoi convention in Missouri set at the date Jan 10 - 12, 2014.

I already registered and printed my ticket which is tacked on my corkboard—ha! I’m excited. This will be my first yaoi-specific convention! Anyway, I am already on the lookout for friends and potential persons with whom to share the hotel.Roommates: I’m 23 years-old, and very respectful of others’ things and personal space and comfort. I love to laugh and don’t mind partying and drinking or wildness. I’m a chameleon and go with the flow so long as my belongings are respected. :} and I’m friendly haaay. I’m always taking pictures; I’m a pro photographer. I’m rooming with 2 of my similarly aged fujoshi compadres, wouldn’t mind having 2-3 more roomies.
Rideshares: I’m leaving from Atlanta, GA and going through Tennessee (Chattanooga, Nashville), Kentucky (may stop around Paducah), Illinois, and, of course, Missouri (rolling through St Louis from I-70). I’m willing to stop in any of those major towns to swoop up those in need of a ride. There’ll only be room in my car for 1-2 persons. All I’ll request is gas compensation, and my car is really light on gas (yay, Toyota) All details will of course be worked out as the actual convention nears.
Cosplay: I WOULD LOVEEE to be a part of a cosplay group, jesusfuck. Kuroko (Aomine, Midorima), Magi (CASSIM, Sinbad) , Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler (AGNI, Grell), Gundam Wing (DUO MAXWELL WHAT WHAT), Homestuck (Gamzee!), … and WHATEVER else. I’m game. I will do my fucking homework, I promise; and I’ll put in the work, time, and money needed.

Crack Fic: “Finding” - Allen Walker/Jack Harkness
I entered a fanfic contest at a local con. It was a “Shipping Hat,” in which I made a list of 10 characters, got a random prompt, and had a little under 2 hours to write a fic for them.
My prompt was “Allen Walker finds Jack Harkness the prostitute during an undercover mission.”
…I won. XD
An amazing read, we loved it and can’t wait for more!

Unforunately, I just now noticed you are required to have a valid photo ID to pick up your pre-registered badges. Uh, I'm terrified of driving, so I don't have a driver's license. I have a student ID for my high school. Will that be enough? Should I bring some other proof of my age, like my birth certificate? Or will I be forced to waste twenty dollars (that could be spent at the con!) to buy a non-driver license? ;n;
AnonymousAh, no worries! We accept any valid forms, much like you would show for voting. Your SS card, a none-drivers license, birth certificate, military ID, and much of the like are all accepted!
